Spanish Poker Association

Our aim is to support and promote the game of poker throughout Spain and internationally.

To advance National and International exhibitions and conferences that will aid and add credibility to the sporting play of poker.

To be able to teach and increase the awareness factor of poker.

To exchange knowledge, facts and information amongst all members. This will aid them to promote their own interests in the sporting game of poker.

To give a discipline to the whole gambit of poker and poker related activities within Spain and in the international communities.

To negotiate, with all Spanish authorities on the rulings and playing of poker in Spain.

With the intention of giving information throughout all regions, to ensure that any player or prospective player will be able to have all or any information that is available at the time, to be able to play the game of poker either for recreational use with fellow enthusiasts or professionally.

Also to ensure that any member conforms to the rules and regulations laid down by the european ruling or the rulings in Spain.

To ensure that the ethics of any company, club or association that operates in any region of Spain is able to have a separate body that can either adjudicate or be a separate party to any dispute that may arise.

Only bona fide members will have the full use of all the facilities the Spanish Poker Association has to offer. We aim to inform and promote in all areas, working closely with all clubs, associations and single members to give them all the help, information and assistance to conform to the correct playing of the game of poker.

To work closely with all forms of promotion of the game, working in conjunction with any club, association or company that in any way is involved with the game of poker.

The Association will also play a part in introducing any company, association or club to all forms of media, television, radio and newspapers to ensure that the game can be promoted in the correct manner which will ensure that each and every member has the opportunity to show their product in its best light

Each member club, association or single member will be updated and fully informed by the means of a monthly news letter as to venues, promotions and competitions that are held both in Spain and internationally

The Spanish Poker association is a non-profit making organisation that is dedicated to organising and making available any or all information regarding the playing of poker in any region in Spain and internationally.

To give access and valuable information to any person, group, association or club on any aspect of playing live or online games.

To help and support any person or group that could or would like to take up the game in an amateur or professional manner.

Help, through fellow members or indeed the Poker Association itself with sponsorship, forums, on-line discussions, P.R., marketing, television rights, media recognition or all forms of promotion.

Grants and help with the promotion of the playing of the game of poker in all aspects will be made available to all members, whether this be in the form of introductions to prospective sponsors, information and guidance or through the Spanish Poker Association itself.

The Association will also be an intermediary to link the online situation with the live land based organisations operating within Spain and internationally.

To help, advise and organise if necessary any group, organisation or individual that wants to promote their society, group, company or other organisation within Spain including the Balearics and Canary islands.

To promote "sporting poker" and to organise sporting poker championships.
